so when do you leave? I'm think'n I'll be up around trip's (knoxville) the 1st week of march... any chance you can make it up there? I'll be pick'n up the bike from his brother.

if not I can send you the Milepost book... my dad was nice enough to hilight all the towns with gas in it... for our trip... you'll need that... as many small towns gas stations are closed for the winter... once you hit ft St. Johns and Dawson's Creek.

There is a chance I could make that ride. I was suppose to be house sitting this week but I may run up to Illinois to visit my dad and try to speed things up with the loan he was going to co-sign for me. That would then mean that I wouldn't have any pending plans in march other than finding a truck and bringing it home.

ok... well I'm about 75% sure I'm going up that week... gas in Canada ate into my money... and so did the Xterra. but I should be good.

if nothing else I'll just mail the book to ya... shit I could do that monday... and still plan on meet'n ya... it'll give you a bit more time to plan the trip... I'll have to have my mother send it off as I'll be driving monday.

Word, how were the gas prices in Canada? Fucking Canada ran me dry last year and I ended up paid my buddy back for half of our trip.

This year I was planning on hitting up the west coast instead of driving up into Canada from North Dakoda like I did last year. I F-ing hate Saskatchewan.

well... gas was .99$ per liter... think that comes out to like $3 something... per gallon... don't know about diesel though...

Shit it was 1.63 per liter last year. Half tank were as much as full tanks in the US.

yup... I had good wether coming down... saw LOTS of animials though... so much so that I stopped taking pics!

seriously about 100-120 head of Buffalo... about 20-30 Carabou... 10-20 Elk... 10 or so Moose... 1 Lynx... 1 red fox... no sheep though... and predictably no bear...
