Depends. I find that the stuff in NY and MI tastes the same as it does here, but in the southern States it tastes more like I remember it from up here when I was a kid.

Then why do I have servers asking me, "What kind?" when I ask for a Coke? No, I don't mean diet or regular, because I've heard people answer "Sprite" when asked that question. At least in NY they ask me if I want a "Pop" ( pronounced "Pap") rather than thinking Coke is a generic word.
