In the 5 years that I was an Air Cadet I lost count of the number of people I saw pass out and do a face-plant on the parade floor because they locked their knees, screwing up blood flow. This was in an climate controlled area above a hockey rink, so heat wasn't a factor. The trick is to not lock your knees. If you wear pants with baggy enough legs then you can wiggle your knees back and forth enough to keep the blood circulating while still not obviously fidgeting, which would have earned the wrath of Flt. Sgt.

I'm more scared to be in a man lift 30+ feet in the air then sitting on the truss w/o any safety gear....wft??
