That's why I bought the service manual, when I get back warranty will be expired so it won't see the dealership anymore

I've got the book too...but there are a few things you cant do with regular tools. Like a TPS reset. Thats what the dealer did for free for me. I could get ECMspy and do it...but I dont have any desire too. However, the 08 and up models can perform TPS reset without any tools.

Not me...I own 2 Yamaha's that were bought from a dealer that is about 5 miles from the house.
HOWEVER neither bike has been back to the dealership and I've owned them both for over 2 years. I've done everything myself...so far but it is nice to know the dealership isn't that far away...just in case. They also sell Aprilia...just in case I ever decide to get one. |
