Yeh I know a few that go that far too, but really for every new bike sold how many get wrecked and how many jsut sit? What does 1 out of every 200,000 bikes made make this kind of mileage.

And there is a huge difference between a goldwing and an f41

Huge difference is an understatement. Sad fact is that you're probably right: most either sit or get wrecked. That's too bad because I'll bet any number of Japanese sportbikes can rack up the miles.

Hopefully ill never have to sell my vfr. Maybe one day ill be able to make a thread like this. Of course some multi state riding would help me out.

How did you know when the wheel bearing went out? Slop in the wheel, noise?

I have 35k in my EX500 was thinking about replacing the bearings as they are only about 100 bucks total for the bearings and seals.

No it wasn't loose at all, or make any noise. I could feel it ever so slightly at very low speeds, it just didn't feel smooth. Plus I also check them every time I have the wheels off for a tire change or whatever else, and I could feel it starting to get a little rough. Once I popped the axle seal out and saw the one side was all rusty....

Do you use full syn. oil on ur changes and if so what weight and brand?

Yup... Mobil 1 full syn 10w-40 now, but when I was in Flawriduh I was using 15w-50... changed every 5000 miles
