I'd start with App World, downloaded through your phone's browser at the mobile.blackberry.com website. It's the Blackberry version of the Apple store. They've been adding a good amount of content over the past few days, even though it just launched on April 1st.

As far as apps, I'm running Viigo for RSS feeds, the Myspace and Facebook apps, Slacker and Flycast for music streaming, and google maps for Latitude. If you haven't already, check out crackberry.com. In general, it's an excellent source for Blackberry info. They have a good App store of their own and a fuckton of members to help with info. I've gotten most of my themes through their forums.

I haven't tried to purchase anything yet, but they released two updates already. Try downloading App World again to see if you're using the latest version. I believe they addressed this issue with the first update.

I just got a Curve 8310, brand new off Craigslist for $180. the deals are out there. Mine was still sealed up in the ATT box with all accessories too.

I'm just wondering why nobody has posted up the best place to go for free apps. I want more!

Hell yeah. Got the Bold theme, LightBerry and BB locator apps just now. I highly recommend the locator app. If your BB has GPS, it'll e-mail you the coordinates too. Very nice feature.

I would be careful downloading any free apps. You never know what could be hiding behind the back door in the program
