And I have read many of Tommy's threads. I have also seen people charge their cell phones in the hospital while in there with my brother, and not one of them would be Tommy's normal patients. James

I wouldnt touch anything while in there and make sure ya got good aim
To add to what flexin was saying, I think its differnet on the floors or if youre in a bed. Some of the new ER's have internet at the bedside so you can get on line to do stuff or kill time as is the case once your admitted and up on the floors, because in a lot of cases youre just killing time while adimtted anyway. |

No, I don't think its tacky at all and wouldn't bat an eye if someone plugged in at my home or a business I owned.
I do, however, think people whine too much.

I find it tacky in most situations however at my current job I do simply because I work nights and use it to listen to Pandora all night. It is a very laid back work environment and I only do it at lunch to boost it enough to last the rest of my shift then it goes back in the car. I think it all depends on the situation. It does bug me that a couple of the day shift guys have chargers in certain outlets that stay there night and day so it is 'convenient' for them which I find extremely tacky, kinda says 'this is my personal space and not work'.

So it went to another level the other day, while working I went to the deli down the street go grab some food and whil eon line some lady comes in and asks if she can charge her phone in the store and offered to buy something. The guy behind the counter told her to GTF out of the store, made me LOL while in there.
people who work somewhere using a charger is one thing but if a customer or client comes in and just randomly plugs in is prety tacky IMO |
