I haven't heard anything yet but looking at the 08 comparisons they will surely have to do something.

In 07' the R1 was at or near the top but being unchanged for 08' they are all of a sudden at the bottom of the litre bike class in performance.

No way is that thing coming with SSS, ohlins forks, marchesinis, brembo monoblocks, etc... that's a concept through and through... or they're considering making another super special edition again.
