I have a 2nd gen lying around somewhere, but its battery only lasts 3 hours at best..........and that was after getting a new one under "warranty". The same was true for everyone else I knew who had one of those.

I have a Zune, partly because on my WP7 the music output isn't strong enough through headphones to hear on the bike :/ But also, because I'm not an apple fanboy.

I was essentially talking about ALL of the anti-competitive lawsuits. There were many of them.

The copyright/patent ones are getting old too. Apple sued Amazon yesterday for using the words "App Store."

My memory is a little fuzzy with the Microsoft suits but if there was one I could agree with it would be the one about MS strong arming retailers.

I've lost count of the number of times I've heard about RIM (Blackberry) suing someone, or being sued, over 'proprietary technology.'

It's all part of the industry. Hell, British Telecom tried to sue that it had a patent on the hyperlink, if I remember right.
