I could fill that section. I have 7000 pics on how to tear down and rebuild a bike from the frame up. Exhaust wrapping, funky painting, adding a non OEM windscreen, valve lash, putting EI on a bike, rebuilding shocks, ad nauseum.

But people could care less. For one thing, the bike is 30 years old, who the hell cares about synching carbs? Real bikes don't have carbs.

Then you have people that will spend their time telling you how you did it wrong, that it has the wrong oil, even though you've put 50,000 miles on the damn thing and it doesn't use any oil.

So that's why I don't post in the tech section. And I'm female. What the hell would I know about bikes?

You would have saved a lot of time if you'd have just posted that last line..

Yes, I know. And I'm old, so my vagina isn't much to look at any more, either.

I have no purpose in life.

Have you ever seen the article on the 10 "types" of facebook status updates?

Well much like that article there should be one written about those threads that seem to rear their ugly head on a semi-annual basis.

This one has to top the list for MC related boards.

I hear ya, I have similar on building a chop. But not much interest here.

Tech is just one example of what we could have here that is still MC related.

Is there even any new riders on the board? Like Homeslice said after riding for a while what is there really to ask about? Seems like its all the old timers from CF that made the mass exodus that filled up the forum.

Its too hot for me to ride, this is my winter. I may have 1 or 2 questions in a year, which got answered in a pm by Krabill

Futura? Showa forks? I can take my Falco's forks apart again and take pictures this time.

I've been pondering replacing the left seal anyway... Hmm.
