Aroound here it's cheap, Like 35 Bucks and like you said...It goes towards helping out the shelter.

It's a little more pricey here, depending on which shelter or rescue.
Actually, I think maybe I just paid a penalty on mine because I didn't take one of the 10,000 pit/pit mix dogs.

I agree the whole 'rehoming fee' thing is bullshit, but it can serve a good purpose. Like others have mentioned, it can help screen people...

I dont mind giving a few hundred to shelters. I know that money goes to a good use.
