When I stopped laughing, I sent him this note:
Andrew, Not to burst your bubble but I will give you $700 for your bike if you are interested. $3800 is not even remotely close to its value for a 15 year old, air cooled, non fuel injected touring bike. The claim of high 10's in the quarter mile? Maybe in the 1/8th mile. High 14's in the quarter might be more believable but not 10's. Additionally, all the NEW stuff you have tells me that its been abused or wrecked, also depreciating its value. Let me know and I'll come get it if you want. Bill

Yea the only way a Katana would do a 10 sec 1/4 is if you dropped it off the Empire State building.

Holy shit. I seriously laughed until I cried with that one. Those quotes should be combined and made into a motivational poster with that picture.
I'd be real suprised if you can get a 1994 Katana to run in the 11s. My buddy had one and it was slow as hell compared to my 96 F3. Or maybe he swapped a GSX 1100 motor in there and forgot to mentoin it. In a motorcycle magazine they tested a 1995 F3 in 1995 with pro riders to get low-mid 11s... http://www.motorcycle.com/manufactur...o-1-15053.html

About halfway down are 1/4 mile times. Best 1/4 for a 93 katana (closest to 94 I saw) was 12.2 which Im guessing took a ricky gadson caliber drag racer. |

lol, got a smile from me.
Fast and the furious may be pretty gay, but in its own defense, you cant say the acting was bad because i truely believe that most of the characters thought it was a documentary. I've heard the new one is pretty good. |
