The Sprint and Verizon models have a flash.... Can't tell if the AT&T has one, looks like the t-mobile definitely doesnt.

I heard a rumor that CDMA is better at penetrating buildings, is that true? If so, could explain why Verizon doesn't drop calls as much as ATT.

no, it's a frequency thing. Higher frequency doesn't penetrate as well. Some GSM/TDMA is better than CDMA because it operates at a lower frequency, some of it is worse because it operates at a much higher frequency.
