Looosen your grip. i dont care, just do it, and relax your forearms. This goes especially for drives. if you do this and slow your tempo down a notch you'll see farther ball flight and straighter shots. if you're slicing try setting up and then moving your back foot back an inch or so and watch as u hit a natural draw.

Coil. You get 99% of your power from your hips and shoulder rotation. your arms are just along for the ride. Most people only go about 80% on their backswing and still use 100% on their downswing. Keep your tempo at 3:1. on your backswing cound "one, two, three" and at three bring your hips forward, followed by your shoulders. on your downswing thing just "one"... a 3 to 1 ratio has been proven to have the best effect on the golf swing. the lower the scores the more consistant the ratio. a lot of people have a slow backswing only to follow with a furious downswing (watch charles barkley swing a golf club), and this messes up their rythem. Never compensate, and never hessitate.

LOL Don't watch Charles Barkley swing. Some think that you can have that swing rub off on you by watching it. LOL Charles has more problem then a slow back swing. Did you see that he is working on it and has been improving?

One of my problems is I can get pretty good distance at times. So knowing that I want to see how far I can really hit it, and I end up coming on to it and knocking over trees. And not one of them is in front of me. LOL.

Another problem is my first set of clubs was shorter so I had a different stance that worked well with those clubs. When I switched to longer clubs that didn't work at all.

I have a number of things to work on.

The club has singles night every monday. Apparently a ton of women go, im gonna have to check that out.

I was coming off the 18th hole last fall on a thursday night. Ladies night was starting, shotgun start at 6pm. WOW. Yummy ladies everywhere in shorts and golf skirts.

Saw some girls on the course who were a little bigger, but not often, and im yet to see a fattie on the course, at all.

You think he;d have been able to afford lessons before now, lol.

Im tall (6'4") and I had a horrible time learning to swing with the used off the rack clubs i bought last year. I ordered custom pings this year, and wow. I already have the driver and hybrids, what a difference. Should have the irons soon, cant wait to try them! Especially the short irons, im hoping it clears up my innaccuracy some.

I used to be good at mini-golf... lol. I'm horrible at the real deal though. I went to the practice range a few times, and no matter how hard I tried I'd just swing and miss repeatedly and then get extremely pissed off and leave.
