I get bored riding on the street from time to time. But the second I get a chance to hit the dirt, or the local track it is excitement city again.

I'm just bored of my bike, can't wait to get something bigger.

Street riding, yes. Dirt/track not a chance!

I do like being alone mostly. But I also feel like I push myself harder in a group. I'm also very picky about who I'll ride with; no squids allowed.

I pretty much ride alone these days.
And I agree about the "lazy" thing. A lot of times the truck is just easier.
However, even for the short rides & commutes I find myself doing these days, my motorcycle exhilarates me.

I agree with this and I know Erik would too.

I don't think I will ever get bored since I don't get to ride during winter. Even if I didn't have the break, I wouldn't get bored.

It does get a little lonely when you don't have anyone to ride with you.

I'm not sure bikes really are a social thing, leastways not for me; I enjoy the occasional group ride, but some of the most memorable rides have been alone time (no offense, Marko).

I just enjoy the experience; be it a short commute, a trip to the store, or a cross-country butt burning endurance dash....

it's all good....
I usually ride alone, too. I prefer it most times.

Wow! I'm itching to ride off-road more, but I don't think I want it to be quite that exciting!

I can't ever imagine being 'bored' with riding - it's simply a part of me. Even in my most 'down' times, it never fails to push everything else aside & force me to live in the moment. I'm really looking forward to consistent warm weather coming back around so I can get many more miles in this year - including some long solo trips & camping off the bike!

i've met many - ok, several but I don't get out much - women who don't ride anymore because it got "boring". What they really meant is that it didn't make up for all the looks and personality they're lacking and they didn't get as many dates as the salesperson promised them. Boring.
ya, whatever.
