I moved to Ohio for a year when I was in my 20's. Crappiest year of my life but I am still glad I did it! (Just wished I'd picked somewhere nicer!)

Because I've moved around quite a bit. When you're constantly off on a new adventure it makes it hard to "put down roots" so to speak and sometimes you feel like you're constantly starting over.
