I'd kinda like a printer... I'd kinda like a scanner too. I really don't have enough of a reason for either to even buy one of the cheapo all-in-one's...

Real Canon, why? There's a "color" kit with the 4 normal inks and the black pigment ink is separate. Even from Best Buy it's only about $60 total. Although,if it came to that,I'd probably get a new printer if I could get it at these prices...shit,I almost decided to buy two just for the ink!

Well,if you ever make it down here I'll give you my Dell 924 printer/scanner/copier. It needs ink or you can have the cartridges refilled, but I don't recommend it. I tried that and it sucks! Shit,I saw a Lexmark AIO at Walmart that's WiFi for $40...it's amazing how cheap shit has gotten.

If you're going to use it to print pictures, then it's "Real Canon BECAUSE." The cheap, third party inks are hard to colour balance and frequently mess shit up in the printer.

Take it from a guy who knows..... Papa knows best.

Get the real canon ink.

Here's a link of my baby...PIXMA Pro9500.

Oh FYI. You don't need an OMG stupid megapixel camera for decent quality prints. Here's actually a good reference from believe it or not, Microsoft, regarding megapixel/printquality yadda yadda wtf ever. If you give a shit, read.

Yea,I always heard that 5 meg was equivalent to 35 mm although I understand about lenses and etc,if the picture is in focus and I'm printing an 8X10 on a 9600 dpi printer,I should be ok right? The other thing I don't get is why your "higher end" model is only 4800 dpi but has more nozzles and prints better pics?BTW that's a nice looking printer...my printer was wondering if she has a boyfriend?
