I have the same issue with hitting my exhaust. I have a high-mount so it comes up right behind my peg it feels like. Would rear-sets help that out?

Well It may. If it moves your feet up higher as most due and you can deal with the ride position. I personally hated mine up high. I'm to tall for that shit. It will help move your pegs but some rear sets might make it closer to your pipe not move it further. I would check out a few sets on a site like bike pics to see where they put ya or maybe a bike specific site to ask some questions before you buy.

To bad nice pipes dont have a nicely styled heat sheild for just this problem in that area.
