I am in the group that believes that modern medicine as great as it is, sometimes the cure is what kills you. I watched my father in law undergo chemo and he just withered away from the chemo not from the cancer. The following year my father went through something similar, but he smoked weed, and he ate like a champ. He did loose some weight from lack of hunger, but was able to keep eating through the year long chemo.

I'm not sure about the fact that THC actually fights cancer, but it sounds plausible.

The article said the father said the kid wasn't keeping anything down, and was reduced to the feeding tube. He also said that upon giving him the oil, his appetite returned, he started eating food, and began to recover...or did I fucking miss something?

No, im not arguing that at all. Im arguing against the title of the thread, 'Dad cures sons brain cancer', because it just isnt true. Treatment cured his cancer. Did pot help his appetite? Im sure it did. Its helped mine plenty. But its not the miracle cure many pretend it is. Yes it can help relieve symptoms, but it doesnt cure them, period.

Not at all. So long as what you get is that the chemo saved his life, while the mj made his life more comfortable.

I would love for the oil to have cured him. There's just no proof that it did.
