I agree that it sucks. It sucks that the responsibility for protecting the nation against foreign invaders* has fallen to the states, since the federal government refuses to lift a finger.

I am not, however, convinced that the use of tanks, RPG's, or even Mexican ingenuity will do anything but cause the state of Texas to respond in kind. We have Mexicans too. Almost as many as Mexico.

* Before anyone's panties get wadded, I'm referring to Mexican drug cartels and gangs, many of whom buy support from the Mexican army. We have had Mexican troops on US soil on too many occasions to count now, aiming and shooting weapons at federal agents and other US citizens.

I don't think it's going to matter either way. A few well placed rounds will turn one of those fancy outboards into scrap metal.

The bow flare made me think Yellowfin as well, but the reporter said they were designed for shallow water. Wouldn't be the first time a reporter didn't know what the hell they were talking about though.

Could be 300s. Since they carried the 350 cowl design down to the V6s I have trouble telling the difference anymore.

Thank God. Soon, honest, God-fearing, white American workers will be able to get back in those fields and harvest all those vegetables. No more Mexicans taking up all those awesome farm jobs that pay so well! WOOHOO!! Get 'em boyeez!

Right now there are four patrol boats with two more on the way. Each one is armed with six M-240 (they call it a .30 cal, in the military they are 7.62mm) machine guns.

'Bout time.
We call it a GPMG and it's great for turning enemies into hamburger.

They're not patrolling for border crossers looking for work. As evidenced by the fact that you can't take a patrol boat in the ankle deep sections of the river that job-seeking border crossers use. They're patrolling for the Zetas, the Sinaloas, MS-13, Los Negros, the Juarez Cartel, etc. etc., the ones who actually have money for boats and cars (whic apparently double as boats for the cartels).

Unless you prefer your illegal immigrant farm workers to be headless. Then by all means, let's keep the flood gates open for all comers!
