If you want a good burger, non chains are the best way to go. Just watch diners, drive ins, and dives for the best burgers.
I thought Alice's burgers were pretty damn good out there by you, Homeslice. I am sure you got a ton of awesome food places in SF though. |

I have what just may be the best hand made pub style burger in all of NJ right at the end of my street (you can't really pick it up...it's about the size of your head).
As far as chains go; Five Guys probably has the burger most like real food.
