Again, on the census you can check however many boxes you want. You can also write in whatever race you want.

A hundred years ago, you would not be accepted among whites unless you were 90-100% white. 50-75% wouldn't cut it. You'd still be labeled black or "colored". So, the one-drop rule was created by whites. Can't blame blacks for continuing to roll with it.
