I have one, it's a secret ritual. I do it at a certain spot on 129 right before I make my first run across the dragon heading to NC.

I check tire pressure.
I figure it's what connects me to the ground so I tend to make sure they're alright...

I check the air pressure if it's been a day or two and I ALWAYS hook up my radar detector and do a sound check. I run the bike while I do this and put on my gloves to warm it up. I won't ride without it, period. I also do a quick walk around and just take a look at it...
 Oh and back to the other thread, I always rock it when I first get on the road... habit.

I pray everytime before i get on the bike, or as soon as i take off, last time i didn't, i crashed, lost a lot of skin, fractured my pelvis, in the ambulance(wearing only my helmet, they cut off what was left of my clothes) they game me a shot for pain, i was allergic to it, so then i was all messed up with my head and face swelled up like a kickball stuck inside the helmet
so yeah , i do it everytime, and i make sure its up to 100 degrees before taking off
