I'd be wanting to go there to photograph the devastation. I went to the Outer Banks in 2004 right after Hurricane Ivan came through. It was wild.
And the pics I've seen from down there are astonishing.

Neither were these guys, they were just awesome like that. Good people.
A twister came down between the dragon and the foothills parkway. The devastation and how it was isolated to the path was just amazing. I didn't get any good photos though. It cut this huge section of trees out, came across the lake and took out a power tower in the middle of the lake. Then came up the bank by the bridge the kids are always jumping off of. The section it cut through was just utterly obliterated and just outside of it was perfectly fine. |

There's a guy on this gun forum I'm on who's been posting pics. He's embedded with a search and rescue crew. His photos are unreal.
