It's Samsung's first real contender, give them time. Look at the iPhone 1st gen, it was a huge piece of shit.

Its not their first phone, Trip... I like Samsung phones and really like the specs on this one but no flash?

I didn't say their first phone, I said their first real contender. They haven't really ever been a player til the Galaxy S.

I. Know. I just think that a simple thing like a flash would be standard by now... Okay, explain why not? Oh and while you're at it, figure out why any company would come out with a phone that doesn't stack up spec wise with the Evo4...

My iPhone doesnt work at all.
Calls are fine but when it touch the screen nothing happens and i can't get the internets.

What crap! I shoplifted an iPhone the other day and it doesn't work. All it shows is the same damn screen...on the positive side, its really, really light.

Because engineering on these phones don't happen overnight. These things are designed well in advance of their release. They aren't going to wipe away all that time because a new better phone comes out. They will release this one, make their money back, and try to make their next release better. The key is to be the innovator and to think 10 steps ahead of the game. Not a lot of companies can do that. You are going to have followers. Samsung clearly didn't put that much effort into their camera as they did into their screen.

It also depends on access to hardware. If a company can get a certain camera at a good price, they may go for that camera over the best in the business.
