gotta love how the media always grabs the opportunity to say "semi-automatic weapon" as if that's supposed to be scary. I'm gonna guess 70-80% of all handguns out there are semi-autos. This isn't 50 years ago when most people had a revolver.

If he had a gun and was trained properly, no. Once your attacker is fleeing, he is no longer a threat. Chasing him down and shooting him is illegal, in most states.

recoil, AFAIK theres only ever been two autovolver models ever made the first being the webley-fosbury which used tracks etched into the cylinder to cycle a slide in the back and the Mateba model 6 unica which uses the blunt force of magnum rounds to accomplish the same sort of thing. ive seen an exploded diagram but the shit was in italian so ive still got no idea how and while im pretty handy theres no way in hell im taking it apart to find out

mine looks just lke this one except in silver, .44 mag. oughtta see the looks on the line when you yank it out of the case

Looks like Xander Cage

All that work and it still only has 6 rounds and takes longer to reload than a real semi-auto

.44 magnum fuck that, that gives me bad memories, I almost lost half my hearing cuz some dumbass with a .44 out on the range stepped back to where his barrel was almost directly perpendicular to my ear

reliabilty for one, plus you can always get it machined for clips besides, where you gonna find a semi auto pistol with casull power? Catch one of those in the gut and it wont matter if you have a vest on or not.
