I say adopt WSBK rules. Run 2 classes and make the rules stick for seasons ata time. Control tire and all. That is the only way to attract team owners not associated with manufacturers factory rides, then the crowds will come back, sponsors will see a benefit and return, and talent will develop

well i was kind of just including the spec tire rule that wsbk has and ama dmg adopted this year.
I think a showroom stock class would be fun and really have run many stockers in club events but...this is supposed to be professional...
