I was talking to the finance guy at my dlr. He said there were a few of those. The dealership can't do anything about it. Told the customer to call buell and/or corp directly.

I was riding a YZF600R at the time so what did I try to do? Wrap up the RPMS! And I remember the feeling distinctly... Oooooh... here comes the power... and then at ~4500rpm... poof... rev limiter. ![]() It didn't stop me from being interested in Buells, but it certainly made me realize the striking difference in motors.

The happy spot for the XB engine is around 4,000 and you ride the torque curve to around 6,000 and shift.
It ain't like a 600 where you have to rev the crap out of it.
