agreed. The school was out of line with this.

However, that means that the parents have to take responsibility for everything outside of school. I've seen way to many people trying to blame behavior problems that occur outside of school on teachers and the school because "My kid would NEVER act like that unless someone told them to!"

Times like this I wish I had Myspace and such during highschool (or was into it and was as big as it is now) because it has to be so easy to get teenage ass with the interwebz. But then stories like this make me happy I didn't have youtube and shit to post my retarded shit.

glad the school lost this one. they should focus on doing their job of teaching.

There have been some athletes in this area that have been kicked off of teams because they had some pictures on myspace of facebook that showed them drinking.

I guess we no longer even have freedom on the internet, or rather what "freedom" we thought we had. Society just gets weaker everyday.

You have the freedom to say what you wish, within reason. You also have the freedom to pay the piper when the bill comes due. If you take part in a passtime that has a code of conduct attached to it and are dumb enough to shout to the four winds that you've broken said code, you then have little right to cry about it.

If you don't want to be "punished", then don't make a public admission of guilt.
