Rumor was they woul dfranchise him then try trading him, and apparently theyre allowed to do that. They need to buy some time since bradys rehab isnt going well as planned.

According to Chris Mortensen they can...he says doing so will still leave them 100 million of cap room to play with. And if Brady is healthy they will probly trade Cassell.
