Go 5 miles east though through Boise Natl Forest...whoooeee. Miles of switchbacks, paved and dirt.
Ride the Katoom everyday for a month and never ride the same stretch. Days ride to the Oregon Coast Days ride to Yellowstone Calispell, Big Sky, the Bitterroots, Coeur d'Alene, Nezperce, Snoqualmie....... Man, I can think of a lot worse places to live............... I'll help you move in and get settled....but we need one or two days to ride around and explore............... If you don't ride motorcycles, hate water, the mountains, clean and clear air and winter and wintersports, Boise is a bad place to live............. I think he must have done something right..........

Boise is like Denver, except less nightlife & entertainment....
You fly in, and everything looks brown.... Dry, barren most of the year........Hot days, cold nights..... Sure, it's a gateway to lots of outdoor activities, but the city itself? Lame IMO....... It's just a cow town. |
