I also don't see enough sugar & shit sitting at the bottom of the glass.
The mint should be muddled with the sugar and lime at the bottom of the glass before pouring in everything else.
Oh and try experimenting with Sugar in the Raw, tho it would depend what kind of rum you're using.

I make mine unconventionally.

Muddle mint leaves
1/4 lime squeezed then squished with the muddlered.
Lemon Bacardi
4 ice cubes
Sierra mist (diet for me)
Stir
More like squeeze
Stir and enjoy.

The Sierra mist is the replacement of club soda and simple sugar or sugar or sugar syrup. It works well.

It's easier and taste even better. Remember the sierra mist adds more citrus flavor.

I didn't come up with it, a friend of the wife's told me about it... she's a good friend.
