There's a nice dark red 6th gen here that's been for sale for $5500 for months. There's also a 5th gen at the local honda joint.

Thanks Tig for the link... definitely a nice bike indeed! I do like the white VFR's alot. Only thing that turns me off on the VFR's is they have a few too many electrical/charging problems for my liking. Otherwise great bikes though! However, unless something great happens, fact of the matter is I simply can't afford another bike right now. Too much other crap going on. Plus I don't even know what I'm getting from the insurance company yet, so there's only a remote possibility that I could swing it. We'll see what happens though.... one day at a time Thanks for lookin out, I do appreciate it!

Okay Bro! Well if you need any help let me know! Personally, I think that you'll get about $3500 for your bike. If you put that down on this bike and finance 1-2 thousand, you are maybe looking at $50/month. Dude you can donate plasma to get that money! I bet that we can talk them down to about $5-5500 on this bitch! It's been sitting there for a damn year! Last I knew the insurance is cheap on these as well. Just a thought homie, just a thought. Good luck! |

Beautiful bike, but the first thing I would do if I were going to get that for touring duties is take that damn exhaust off and put a stocker back on.
Don't get me wrong. I have a full race ti Yoshi system on my TLR and love it. However, to this day, the Busa is bone stock. I don't want to do 600 miles a day on that thing and have to listen to the drone of an aftermarket exhaust note. Just my .02!

I do keep the exhaust plug in the can though, so it is not much louder than stock.
