Good deal bro! i started on a 250 and i wouldnt change it for the world. Best damn thing i've ever done in my life. She'll have a blast on that thing, but do tell her to be careful. I had no problem catching up to jaalan on his zx7r with my 250 [ofcourse he blew right by me when he really gave it gas] but you get the point, that thing will do 100+ no problem

Congrats on talking her into a smaller bike. You should have seen the nightmare I went through when I tried talking my friends out of big bikes. All where looking for 750s, litres and big V-twins. Most got better bikes that were much more tame.

And I love those 250s. I want one bad. I bet those things would be a blast up at the Gap.
