I have an iPhone and my last phone was the HTC Tilt, but I had the Motorola SLVR before. I never had any problems with it, but I've heard people complain that they're not very good phones (more specifically the RAZRs). Maybe mine lasted even with all the abuse because I bought it in Germany.. but it was an awesome phone, worked great for text, and had a decent camera. Hell, I still have it somewhere.. I would give it to ya, but it's an unlocked phone.. I think I might just keep it for that reason alone.
I have AT&T right now, and haven't had any problems.. I have the 500 min per mo./unl nights and weekends plan, plus unlimited texting and unlimited data.. plus an extra line (for my mom), so my total plan is usually about $100 a month (so I think, IIRC, the basic plan is just $40/mo) before taxes.

My SLVR was great. I still have it but I wanted a cool touchscreen. I have the Samsung Infinity now and it kicks ass. I'm posting on it right now!

I have a 3 year old moto SLVR. It's been underwater for more than 15 seconds at a time, three different times. Phone is a beast, but I think its days are coming to an end.
