If sliders aren't pretty, then neither are pegs, clipons, levers, brake lines, etc

Pegs, clip-ons and even tires have been known to cause bikes to flip in the event of a crash. Therefore, I don't put them on any bike I own.

I don't think the bike ripping to pieces is the frame sliders fault. There are a hundred other random objects on the side of the bike to dig into the ground, including the fairings themselves.

Nonsense. Prior to frame sliders, bikes never flipped.
