I thought Arai and Shoei were for completly different head shapes. How can you go from one to the other and have it fit right?

lol i dropped my arai on my way to class.....

it feels fine to me, i was gonna get an Arai RX-7 Corsair Tommy Gun one but it was to small of a fit for me. The shoie felt fine.

I was gonna get the blue one but i figured the black is pretty tits

I tried on both the rx7 and rf1000 recently and they felt relatively close. It depends on which model you go with. Arai has a couple different ones and shoei has a few too.

The Arai X-11 is for long oval head, which is what the Shoei RF1000 is for as well.
