Oh I totally agree with you, they are just wasting valuable space that can be used for people to stand in while waiting for a bus, and those rope thing to keep lines more organized. Them standing there is as good as a cctv and a dude sitting in an office 500 miles away. They arnt cops, and they shouldnt be acting like they are.

Unfortunately, security has no rights, and can get the shitty end of the stick pretty easily.

Personally, I couldnt stand by and watch, but then again, I love to fight anyway. But in truth, its their job to call the cops. Security officers are not cops, and they arent allowed to act as such...

Their still fucking cowards thoiugh, no way I could turn my back to that.

As much as I agree with everyone else, Derf is right. If these guys intervened they could lose their jobs in addition to getting their asses beaten. If their job is to observe and report, then that is ALL they are allowed to do as far as intervening. Should they immediately get someone who can do something, and should somone have stepped up and assisted, hell yeah (and then face a possible lawsuit).

Thats not Canada, and people with no experience dealing with violence, should not try to.

Its easy to say you'd help, but at a time liuke that, not many people do. I bounced in some rough fucking stripjoints, and not many people i've seen have the balls and the attitude to deal with something like that.

My issue is that they watched seeminly unaffected. It was as if anything else was happening on that platform not some as gross as a girl getting her head stomped on.

The thing is, is that having the security guards down there is a show of force. People tend to use a little restraint if security is around. Now this sets precedence that security won't do anything so now you will have all kinds of mischief going on there. Total lack of respect for them. These guys need to justify their existence and so far they haven't. I can see violence in the tunnel snowballing pretty quickly because in essence, there is no security there now.
