Any wine to go along with those fancy wine glasses and wine bottle opener?

(Sounds like your family hooked you up)

No wine. I actually don't drink wine (allergic) but my mother and all her friends do so they wanted to make sure I had nice glasses for when they come over.

Honestly it was such a huge surprise and TOTALLY appreciated. I have awesome friends in my life.

All the more reason for them to buy you some real good top shelf wine

Wait, you had a shower for an apartment? I thought those were for babies and weddings? Goddamn, women have a fuckload of ways to force people to give them shit for free.

She didn't have a shower, one was thrown for her. Guess you skipped over the part where it said SURPRISE shower? They are called housewarming gifts.

That's great Kel!!! Glad you had a great time too! Surprises never get old! (Long as they're good ones of course! )

SURPRISE shower. And yeah I guess since I'm not having babies or getting married YET go to umpteen showers a year maybe it was kind of my turn?

I'm actually really uncomfortable receiving gifts but I'm also very gracious when people take time out of their lives to celebrate with me. I am blessed.
