I'm assuming that you have the bike in neutral.... I would look into a clutch switch for sure. Have you tried push starting it?

So did you come across more fuses? Or at least properly check the ones you found? I'm still leaning towards the Kill Switch circuit/Ignition Fuse. It's the most likely thing to stop the pump and starter.

Good call, he is very knowledgeable on the Buells, especially the XB's.

I also second the low battery thing. On my 1125, everything worked as normal when I turned the key, but hit the starter and nothing, no click, no attempt to crank, just dead. Hook up the battery charger and it fired right up.

If the battery is really fucked, hooking it to a charger might not work. Pull the battery completely, and run jumpers to your Jeep's batt.

Or hook the charger directly to the cables, same difference.

I took apart my vfr's right controls and cleaned off the kill switch contacts. A little tarnished. My starter button wasnt fully releasing so fixed that too.

To rule out the pump you can directly wire it to your battery and see if it comes on.

Yeah, mine has enough juice to crank my diesel when it's cold... it can handle the bike
