Mechanics apprentice (Dad owned his own garage) from age oh, 13 up till college) We only did mechanical, no paint or body, but we did it all save that.
In college I was a stock boy at Piggly Wiggly. 30 hours a week plus whatever my class schedule was. 15 hours usually plus out of class study. I figure I was doing 60 hours a week combined. In College summers I was contract construction fitting and refitting commercial conveyor systems. Everything from bakeries with their oven and bread lines, Little Debbies, to donuts...All the way up to Heavy Duty Lumber Mill log/lumber moving systems. You got the gammut there too, welding, cutting, layout, pipefitting, electrical, concrete, plumbing, fun stuff. Then I got lazy and did the work study/School of Business/computer lab stuff until I graduated and went into banking. I did everything from bookkeeping, teller work, mail room, courier, internal audit, appraisal, loan officer, compliance, floor plans, credit card servicing, marketing, trash and kitchen detail, collections and repo work, now to Branch manager/business development/loan officer. Been doing it 15 years while I wait on HRC or Yamaha to call me

Hrm... let's see.
If did mow a few lawns as a kid, but I wouldn't call that a proper job. Real jobs didn't start until college. -Night stocker at a grocery store -cook at a taco place -cook at a cajun/seafood restaurant -cook at a taco place again After that I moved to Austin and worked scads of temp jobs, doing everything from secretarial to maintenance work, until: -Temp to perm, administrative assistant/shipping/receiving/billing/etc etc for a label company (3 or 4 years) -Contract job for IBM doing Y2K upgrades -A few other short term IT contract jobs, basic stuff -Contract to perm doing helpdesk/deskside support for an insurance company (~5 years) And now my current slack-ass job where I monitor network & computer systems, watch TV, and wake up higher level techs in the middle of the night.

Let's see... I never worked any real jobs while I was in school.. my mom didn't believe in it, she thought I should spend all my time focusing on studies. Yeah, I didn't understand it then either, since I didn't do what she thought I should do and ended up playing a shit ton of video games... but I digress.
After HS.. US Army Reserve (Paralegal Specialist) Cycle Gear USATMC-E (CPPSO Granfenwoehr - GS-6) USAR (this time reclassed to be a Transportation Movement Coordinator - 88N - so I could be an instructor) After I moved back from Germany and joined the national guard.. HEB - Healthy Living "Lead" (assistant manager) Been on ADOS (active duty for operational support) for the TX National Guard since March 2007. Hoping to get AGR (Active Guard/Reserve) orders as soon as I finish my 42A (Human Resources) course and am MOS qualified. Of course all that may not be finalized until after I return from this next deployment.
