The worst paying jobs are the best it seems.
My favorite paid well, oddly enough. It was testing driving prototype cars for the now defunct car company American Motors. We drove them 9 hours per day, stopped for breaks and lunch. Every time we stopped, anything that moved on the vehicle had to be moved ten times. The visors, doors, hood, seats, anything that you can think of that moved! It was funny to see 10 cars pull up, and the drivers jump out and go crazy flapping visors and hoods around. This is what I test drove. Last edited by Fleck750; 03-11-2009 at 03:16 AM.. |

My favorite job is really a combo of all of the work I did in the music industry. I got to meet many of the people whose creativity and talent awes and inspires me, have been paid to go to countless concerts and absolutely ridiculous parties, got tons of free CD's, and got to help some people whose music I really dig get the recognition they deserve.
Probably the best part though was getting to be one of the few "girls" who wasn't interested in having sex with a rockstar and instead of a one night stand got to be friends with people I admire. Either that or laughing at the stupid girls who actually thought that having sex with a rockstar was something to write home about. |

We're supposed to like working? Fuck, I knew I've been doing something wrong. Being a night club DJ was pretty fun. The pay at this one sucked and the benefits sucked, but I scored a fuckload of numbers, saw a bunch of tits, got a few lap dances from a couple drunk chicks and as long as I didn't get tanked, got to drink on the job with all my drinks being free from all the customers.

Being an engineer in the navy. It's my favourite, and the one I hate the most.
It's a beautiful love hate relationship which proves the old saying.. A sailor is only happy on 2 days. The day he's leaving, and the day he's coming home.. |

tough call I loved the Army. it was like never being at work. Just go out and blow shit up now and then. How do you beat that.
Favorite civilian job was construction and pipeline. Hardwork, not great pay, fresh air, good people to work with. |

Working in a movie theater rocked. By far the most fun I've ever had at any job besides going to Thailand while in the Navy... but that's not really work now is it?
