My first impressions are... Man what a sweet fucking bike. The steering is effortless. I hold my lines perfectly now instead of fighting in on the Kawi. The engine is so much smoother too. It just purrs at 7K rpm.
I haven't really tested the engine yet as I am keeping the rpm's under 7500 for now. In 6th gear I can cruise at 90 mph and still be under 7500 rpm. With a 15K red line, the thing will top out pretty damn fast. |

As I've posted elsewhere if I didn't have the R1 I would have probably bought the gsxr 750....nice balance between the middleweights and litre bikes. I wish the other manufactures offered something like this...congrats.
