ok well i see a 360 in the picture, cant those things handle media servers as well? with my PS3 i can download movies to my laptop and transcode them on the fly wireless to the playstation. took a while to figure out all the bugs but it works fricken badass now.

yep thats what i do, since now ps3 can finally play divx.
I'm pretty sure 360 can act as a media server too... can't it browse the web too? the ps3 if u hook up a wireless kb/mouse works pretty much like a media center computer.
maybe the 360 doesnt have wireless built in?

i have a usb hub under our coffee table for the mouse, keyboard, one controller charge line, and my old ps2 eyetoy that now sees use as a webcam/microphone

but yeah i just looked it up and i think wmp11 and tvversity ought to be able to stream media to the 360

You giving classes? I haven't been able to get that shit straight yet!

Oh and on theme..that looks great Chris! I've had my laptops hooked up for awhile now with wireless keyboard and mouse. I finnally broke down and bought the bluetooth keyboard for the PS3 for $60. I'm happy I did because it has a touch pad on it instead of a mouse which works better for me as I'm on the couch in that room.

what can u do on a media PC that you can't do on a PS3...powerpoint and word don't count. just put all your porn in a shared directory and then you're set...
besides ps3 has a blu ray drive. and probably cheaper than a pc.
