motard or adventurer tourer, easier to go just ride by yourself. Dual sporting and dirt is more a group thing. A smaller adventure tourer can still do some light single track and tourer, a motard is pretty much just has a soul purpose.

Tard it.. because out of those bikes, that is what *I* would choose. My other choice would have been adventure/touring but I'm not tall enough for 90% of those bikes.

I'm sure others have mentioned this but motards can be used for trail riding with a set of typically inexpensive rims and tires. heck,KTM used to give two sets of wheels with the 525.
