Actually a lot of trains are completely automated. Person is just there to push a button if shit fucks up. Especially on things like subway systems and hi speed trains. Ain't shit a person can do on a high speeder if it fucks up.

Planes are go on auto a lot. You should know that. Fly by wire is also pretty big now. Person may be at the wheel, but they are at the mercy of the electrical systems.

If all the shit failed, you would have much bigger issues than transportation.
