and Rae decides to try on the tall ebbs bike, she don't fit either.

We each retire to our cabins. These are individually owned, but maintained and rented by the resort. Kinda like a time share.

This is mine. I pull in...

Master where one of my buds (Tigger) and g/f (Tiffany) will stay

My and Capt's sleeping arrangements... I'm here first and claim bottom bunk

How will I turn this pig around?

So I think... ride thru the front "lawn" and turn around. But instead of backing down the slopped driveway... Just ride back up.

Well I guess listening to Ebbs and Trip got the best of me. My half ton beast didn't like the wet slippery Georgia clay...

Barried clear up to its mufflers and self standing...Might as well rock it out... cause it happened and will now forever live.

And yes to this day... my tires are still stained from that mud!

We all meet back up at the Lodge for some dinner

Next day go for breakfast

Then we had 2 groups. One group that I didn't go on hit the GAP and some of the skyway.

we hit "Blood Mountain" for some picture runs and fun.

Well there was lots of craze... when the Capt Morgan 100 proof busted out, it was said "This will not end good!"

Yeah that ended up being me.

Fast forward to the next morning...

One of The Lodge owners pouring me some pepto... fittingly in a shot glass no less

We gather up for our big ride day thru 4 states (GA, SC, NC, TN). I'm still feeling it... grrrr

But the show must go on... So we hit the road.

All is going well till Jason (a new rider with only 1000 miles under his belt) bit it in a corner. All was ok but his front peg which snapped off his Kaw. I was able to fit the rear passenger peg in its place with a washer from the muffler mount.

I should have turned the sandwich but you get the idea. It's 5 star dining. The owner and cook was a big shot cook in New York city but got sick of the hussle & bussle. Moved out here and settled in. Fantastic food. Just look at the fresh made chips.

We split into 2 groups to get back to the lodge. One for the super slab and one for the scenic twisty route.

Drewpy got a good shot of me and my passenger Becca (Ginger's wife)

We get back and decide to line up the bikes... Let's go get your bike Amorok!

Everybody got back fine. To all 10 some states. I ended up with just shy of 1700 miles in 7 states (including Michigan)

Rolling almost 11k in my 14 months of ownership... not too record breaking but not bad.

And got a few more state stickers too.
