So what are we doing with this now? I went ahead and requested the 22-25 off from work, probably head up the 21st, but where we going? Are we going to hit Tapoco? Or do we want to look for some other place since Lil Switz isnt being responsive?

I would like to go to Little Switzerland to see something new, but I am having issues with contact them and don't really have time to look. If anyone can take the lead on this, that would be great. I will be tied up with work til the middle of may.

Mmmmk, just called, talked to a lady there, she's going to call me back. Currently they have a wedding booked for that weekend and the lodge/other rooms may not be available.
If thats the case, then we need to look elsewhere obviously. The Diamondback lodge has 8 rooms with a single full size bed in each, but depending on how many folks we have, that may not be enough room. I told her anywhere from 10-30 ppl. |

Okay, scratch this place. They are booked that weekend. If we want to move it up a weekend they are wide open, but otherwise we need to find a new place to stay.
Thoughts? |

weekend before is warrior race for me drewpy and ebbs
I am fine with Tapoco again and then people have other options as far as if they want to stay at the gap or fontana or in robbinsville. Or we can look out in Stecoah where that campground is and maybe get a big cabin for a couple of or something. Last edited by Trip; 03-31-2011 at 12:25 PM.. |

And so? You can stay there at least Monday thru Wednesday, but when I told her mostly dates 22-25 for the group of us its booked...
Check this place out: http://biglynnlodge.com/ I will call for rates if ya'll are interested. Non group rates are $105 and up, $27 per extra person over 2 I assume, but they have multiple beds in rooms so folks could share to reduce cost, breakfast and dinner are free at the lodge for those staying. Rate Page: http://biglynnlodge.com/rates.html ETA, this place is right near Swiss Lodge, so will the next one I post be as well...nm, the next closest one is a fancy B&B.

This is hilarious. There are no other places in the area. The other 2 places arent worth posting, as one is the fancy expensive one and the other is too tiny to accomodate us. They only had 12 rooms, 2 of which are currently booked. Nice folks tho.
I'm thinking the Big Lynn might be the place to go, as they are the only ones who have the room to acomodate, plus, while it is a lil pricier, we do get free food for you hooligans. I'll call'em now. |
