Okay, the Japs have gone a long way "recently" to distinguish the different displacement bikes BUT it's wasn't that long ago when you could literally take body parts off a GSXR 600 and put them on either a 750 or a 1000. For those who claim

Oh I know, I just stopped there... I owned a '97 YZF1000R and I've owned a '01, '03, '06 GSXR1000. Personally, I've always felt that this is genius on the manufacturer's part and something that some American automakers should emulate.
