Dude, even my new Vette is over 15 years old. I'm not rich. Far from it.
I just can't drive a pedestrian car, it has to return enjoyment for me, at the seat of the pants level. I'd be just as happy with a Mazda MX5 Miata. ...if it had the Ford 302 kit in it from Monster Miata.

Again, for me it is NOT image.
I'd be just as happy with the V8 Miata. For me it's about power-to-weight ratios, control, response, and feel at the seat. End of story. All else is both pretense, and bullshit. That fucking Vette, btw, is the first fucking car I've ever even owned that had even fucking paint on it. I could give a flaming fuck about image.
